I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to to be chosen as the cover artist for this years Artist Open Houses 2025. The event has a very special place in my heart as it’s where my career began as an artist 18 years ago in 2007.
It seemed fitting to create a very quintessential seaside food for the cover being a portion of knitted battered cod and chips wrapped in the local Brighton paper The Argus with a squiggle of crocheted ketchup.
I am super excited to be taking part this year and will be opening my studio shop to the public every weekend in May with a very Brighton theme being a celebration of seaside foods including Fish & Chips, Candy Floss, Mr and Mrs Whippy ice creams and of course sticks of Brighton rock.
